"It'll slow down after the holidays...." hmmm, maybe I shouldn't make statements like that :) It seems the "rush" of life is just an all-year-round thing anymore... but maybe it's because we are so blessed with such a bountiful life of friends and family and activities that accommodate each one. The grace of God is ever faithful in giving strength to move on! So...just a little up-date on a few things around here....
In the middle of many family get-togethers on my husband's side over the past month, was a wedding we attended of two good friends, one being a cousin. Instead of using a guest registry book, the bride-to-be asked me to come up with two designed scrapbook sheets to be randomly signed. I thought it was a great idea! The wedding theme was Beach and she was using coral colored gerber daisies, so these are what I came up with...
About a week before, I was able to host a CTMH gathering for a new friend of mine. Going with a Valentine theme, this is the project we made...
So cute! A while back my sister shared an idea on making a
door prize box using a tissue paper and I just had to make one for myself to use at gatherings like these...

And of course with growing children comes the need to grow in knowledge, so we've been trying to work in as much schooling for my 2 oldest. We are working through both curriculums from

So ya, between all this and endless laundry, mountains of dishes, potty training, occasional cases of cabin fever with this bitter weather and finally getting over the month-long cold\flu, I too am blessed with hearing "Mommy, your my friend" and sweet giggles that get me through the day, a wonderful hubby to look forward to having home in the evening and an awesome church family that encourages and is there for each other.
Yep, life is good :)
I love all your projects... super cute! Your door prize box turned out great!!! Isn't it fun to have at your gatherings!!! You are blessed, your children (my nieces & nephews) are so beautiful! Love you!
